Welcome to the website of the ACT Textile Arts Association (ACTTAA). We are a non-profit organisation whose members are interested in the design and embellishment of textiles which they use to produce wearable art, wall hangings, paintings, sculptural forms, jewellery, bags, hats, accessories and household items.

Our members share their expertise at regular workshops and demonstrations at our monthly meetings. We will be meeting on the second Wednesday evening of the month at 7.30pm at the Embroiderer's Hall, Gorman House, Ainslie Ave, Braddon, but please check the Diary section to confirm dates for upcoming meetings.

Would you like to know more about any of the following?

Dyeing techniques, fabric manipulation, machine & hand embroidery, silk painting, stencil work, stamping, felting, beading, printing, wearable art.

Then please come to a meeting to find out more about our lively and growing group or read through this website and then feel free to contact us. If you're interested in joining the group please fill out one of our membership forms.
