Our tutors have been putting in hours of preparation into a workshop only to find it cancelled at the very last minute due to insufficient paid enrolments. The Committee has decided that all payments must be in two (2) weeks before the workshop. Your payment reserves your place in a workshop and ensures that it will proceed.

Tea Gowns – Think about an elegant afternoon tea party and take a trip to your favourite Op Shop to search for old tablecloths, doilies, laces etc, etc which will be turned into a special gown for these occasions. You could also use natural fabrics in your stash which could be dyed and embellished. |
Deconstruction/Reconstruction – Endless possibilities but think about a “Tea Gown” for the Exhibition/Fashion Parade (and tie it in with the Christine Waring Hat Workshop in August. |

Christine can provide materials if ordered beforehand. Approx $35 for straw and $45 for a felt hood. NB Christine will be speaking at the June 9 Members Meeting on her work and the workshop. |
