Holiday challenge 'Best Foot Forward' - Summer 2007/08
The object was to have the following three elements somewhere within the design:

shoe soles (obtained from Kate Mackenzie or at the meeting), a shoelace, words based on the acrostic S.H.O.E.

April’s meeting was busy with the presentation of our Holiday Challenges, “Best foot forward” based on the shoe soles that Kate McKenzie had donated.

We chose a different format for the presentation of entries this year with all entries being displayed at the same time and members encouraged to ‘vote’ for their favourites with a coin or two. All monies will be collected for the Civic Soup Kitchen.

We raised $119.20 on the night with Philippa’s entry raising over $40. Congratulations Philippa and thank you to all members who displayed their Challenge entry or voted for their favourite.
